The bike trip is over and we decided to stay in Sarlat for two more days

Sarlat's charm lies in its preservation of the past;

It still gives the impression of  a small market town

Sarlat's narrow, medieval streets, restored Gothic and Renaissance town houses

and its famous Saturday Market make it quite the tourist attraction.
