In the summer of 2002 we were at the Tour De France for the final stage race.

We were very fortunate to have passes to get into a special viewing area for the Tour de France.

We were right on the Champs-Elysees and could reach out and touch the racers,

if the Gendarmes were not there of course.

It was a full day of events beginning with a parade of floats.

There were numerous sponsors represented.  These are just a few of the ones we liked.

 Champion Supermarkets sponsored the climber's jersey (above)

while PMU sponsored the sprinter's jersey (below).
